e-werk weimar e.V. est une organisation non-gouvernementale basée à Weimar. Elle gère et entretient le Strassenbahndepot au sein du E-Werk. Depuis 2004, l’association développe ses propres projets qu’elle présente parfois au E-Werk.

Ces dernières années, e-werk a oeuvré dans une démarche nomade, à savoir des projets existant dans le processus, se développant à partir de réseaux et sous forme collective pour faire émerger des œuvres contextuelles.

En 2006/2007 elle a conduit un projet entre la France, l’Allemagne et la Pologne intitulé MISSION EUROPE qui a donné lieu à l’organisation d’un colloque, d’un voyage à travers les Balkans, à la création de 12 œuvres d’artistes et une exposition à Marseille, Katowice et Weimar.

Actuellement elle mène le projet « Light House Ankara » qui réunit des jeunes artistes et étudiants français, polonais et allemands, avec des artistes turques et des étudiants et citoyens de la Ville de Ankara, en vue de transformer l’échoppe de céramique "Atölye Camurdan" en un espace de création artistique : Light House Ankara.

e-werk weimar e.V. is a cultural non-governmental organization in Weimar with its home on the grounds of the E-Werk in Weimar. It runs and maintains the Strassenbahndepot in the E-Werk. Since 2004, the NGO is also active as an initiator of culture. It develops its own projects that are accordingly (and when possible) presented in the E-Werk.

In the last years e-werk approached ’nomadic’ project structures, which means ; process oriented, network based collective projects where contextual artistic works evolve from.

In 2006/2007 the German-French-Polish project MISSION EUROPE was realized with a symposium, a trip through the Balkans, the development of 12 artistic works and exhibitions in Marseille, Katowice and Weimar. Currently, the project ’Light House Ankara’ gathers young artists and students from France, Poland and Germany, together with Turkish artists, students and citizens from Ankara to transform the ceramics store "Atölye Camurdan" into the workspace LIGHT HOUSE ANKARA.
